Hi there! Today I’m publishing a look I did last summer on one of my friends, Isabelle.
My purpose for this look was to work the skin to get a very dewy finish, the eyes being secondary to me. Isabelle has a natural perfect skin. She is the type of beauty who doesn’t need makeup to look good. She doesn’t even to trim her brows. After hydrating her skin, I applied the first liquid highlighter on the entire face with a flat foundation brush. As a next step, I mixed the High Beam highlighter by Benefit with the MAC Face & Body in the shade C2 (which appeared to be a little too dark for her) to emphasize the glow. After putting the concealer, I only fixed the under-eye area on a little the center of the front. As a bronzer, I used Laguna and Deep Throat as a blush by Nars. Finally, I took a compact highlighter, for instance MAC’s Whisper of Guilt (limited edition) and put it on the highest points of her face: above the cheek bones, above and under the eyebrows, on the bridge of her nose and on the Cupid’s bow.
As for the eyes, the only hint of “drama” so to speak was a smoked liner and false lashes.
